Canuck Coatings utilizes some of Alberta’s best resins & systems in order to achieve a permanent, durable & beautiful finish. These resin’s include: Epoxy, polyaspartic, polyurea, polyurethane’s, MMA’s, and more! With these products, a permanent protective barrier is created, protecting the concrete from water, salt, contaminants, oils, chemicals, heavy traffic & Alberta’s harsh weather. Concrete coatings can also serve as a great cosmetic addition to any garage, basement, shop, hanger, and many other spaces!
In order to achieve an optimal bond to the concrete, we utilize shotblasting as our preferred method of concrete preparation. Shotblasting removes the top “slurry” of the concrete; Exposing the pores and creating a rough profile for superior adhesion and long life.
In some instances concrete grinding is necessary instead. In that case we use diamond grinders to achieve the required bond for superior adhesion.
